I know firsthand how challenging it can be to think of things to do when you’re stuck in the house.
After all, it’s only so much sleeping and watching the news one could do in one day without becoming overwhelmed with fear. So I wanted to construct a list of things to do when you’re stuck at the house.
Many of these, my family and I have implemented, so hopefully, they help you as they have helped me.
1. Become intentional with building your relationship with God.
2. Family Fun night/ karaoke
3. Movie night on Netflix
At this moment, Netflix has the top 10 movies that are the most played during a stay-at-home quarantine.
4. Make Tik Toc and Thriller Videos
5. Listen to your favorite podcast
Recently, I spoke on my friends Andrea podcast, where I talked about leadership and overcoming life adversities. To listen, click here.
6. Read a book
7. Deep spring clean your house
8. Play UNO or Charades
In my household, playing the card game, UNO is intense, haha! So this has been the perfect past time game night.
9. Organize your closet
10. Learn a new hobby
11. Learn a new language
12. DIY Project
13. Group Facetime/ Zoom
Unfortunately, my youngest sister lives in a different state, so I do not see her often, so this time being stuck at home has allowed for myself and my other siblings to have sister night through Facetime, and it has been so refreshing! It has brought back memories from my childhood, just being up all night laughing and reminiscing over childhood memories.
14. Invest in yourself
This time is the perfect time to invest in yourself. During this time in isolation, it has allowed me to reflect on where I am in my life, and I realized I wanted GROWTH so allow for this time to be time spent investing in your goals.
15. Start a blog
This time at home is the perfect time to start a blog website! Here is a step-by-step guide on how to step up and launch your dream blog.
16. Self Care
What better time to deliberately indulge in your self-care than this time in the house, this is the time to put yourself at the top of your to-do list!
17. Cook your favorite meal
19. Polish nails and toes
21. Binge-watch your favorite tv shows
22. Watch live stream church sermons
23. Clean your makeup brushes/ organize your makeup
I am guilty to say that I do not clean my makeup brushes as often as I should, cue crying face! Please don’t judge me! Haha. Since being stuck at home, I was able to wash my makeup brushes and beauty blender! Whoot! Whoot! Haha!
25. Sign up to read books to children
